Sexual health should be a source of joy but sometimes biology isn't cooperating. We can help at Pulsar Health with rejuvenation of the region's outer parts and recommend some treatments to improve the experience.
One treatment involves shots of PRP (platelet rich plasma). Our PRP is photoactivated to make it more potent and placed in the front wall of the vagina as well as the clitoral hood where it works to rejuvenate the area and enhance sensitivity. This typically results in better orgasms as well as reduced urinary leakage during any activity such as exercise or even sneezing! The shots can be repeated a month apart, typically doing this two to four times for a full effect.
Plumping up of the labia majora can help if there has been volume loss over time. We have a specially designed PRP with hyaluronic acid designed for use in the labial area, which can add back the cushion. If the skin of the labia majora is a little too lax, tightening treatments with the Virtue DEEP radiofrequency microneedling device can improve the elasticity and strength of the skin. Again, this is typically done in a small series spaced a month apart for the best results.
Non-invasive internal vaginal health procedures are not done currently at Pulsar Health, but we do have stem cell therapies that can be applied at home as well as device recommendations. Surgical options for tightening exist but require dedicated rehabilitation for best results.
Sometimes the inner lips or labia minora are not aesthetically optimal. Surgery can be done to reduce their size and reshape them (labiaplasty). We typically do this under general anesthesia, but it can be done awake if numbing medicine is tolerated in this area.
For male sexual health, we do not recommend fillers or any other long-lasting interventions for girth, but PRP shots can be helpful for tissue health restoration and improved orgasms. Use of a penile pump at home following the procedure is recommended. Occasionally surgery is warranted to improve the appearance of the area. We do not offer gender affirmation surgery of the groin area.
Hormone therapy has not been initiated yet at Pulsar Health but we hope to do so in the near future.
