Bio

Dr. Gill founded Pulsar Health on the vision of integrating the best in world - Western technology with Eastern energy medicine.

Born in India but raised in England, she was trained in the values of English surgeons who take responsibility for the whole patient instead of just operating on a part of them. She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1999 after graduating from medical school at the age of 22 years.

Technology and research are fundamental for our evolution. She chose to work as a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institutes of Health, the United States premiere research facility, studying the immune responses to cancer. She also wanted to see basic science translated into the real world, so obtained a Masters in Biotechnology Enterprise at Johns Hopkins University where her favorite course was on Nanotechnology.

Her compassion keeps her at the frontline of healthcare. Dr. Gill has operated on four continents doing surgery in pro bono "mission trips" for the very poor, aesthetic plastic surgery procedures for those seeking to fulfill their dreams, and reconstructive surgery for those afflicted with traumatic accidents, congenital deformities or cancer.

She is not an average doctor. She has the intelligence and track record to be the best person to take care of you. Her entrance exam scores to the United States system (USMLEs) were better than 99% of her colleagues, and she got a pre-match offer to a top five general surgery program at the University of Pittsburgh. Board certified in General Surgery, she went on to become Board certified in Plastic Surgery after attending the very busy plastic surgery program at the University of Vanderbilt, where she completed all three years of residency requirement in her first year. She received extensive training in both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery there before going to the internationally recognized University of California Los Angeles craniofacial training program to complete her fellowship. Although about 25 fully trained surgeons go through craniofacial fellowship training annually in the United States, there are only on average 5 jobs / year in pediatric craniofacial surgery. Dr. Gill attained one of those five jobs in her graduating year, working as Co-Director of the Craniofacial surgery program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. There she performed complex surgeries such as facial bipartition and orthognathic (jaw) surgeries, as well as delicate reconstructive work on small children. Due to family health issues, she moved to California where she was recruited to head the gender affirmation program at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento.

Having been trained by the best, she has always passed on her legacy of knowledge, teaching medical students, residents, nurses, physician assistants and other doctors. At the University of Arkansas, she was head faculty member of one of the Harry Potter style "Houses." At Kaiser Permanente, she was adjunct faculty to the plastic surgery residents at the University of California Davis. At Pulsar Health, she has continued to teach, being the South Florida trainer for many years with Hans Biomed, makers of MINT Threads, and now teaching with PracticalCME so that more people can benefit. She wrote this website herself in order to pass on valuable information that she has vetted.

On a personal note, she has been on an evolutionary healing journey herself. Working beyond breaking point hours in residency, she developed an autoimmune condition. Western medicine prevented her dying from it, but the only "cure" was eradication of the thyroid gland and being on medication the rest of her life, which she did not accept. That began her journey of exploring complimentary therapies to heal root causes, rebalancing and correcting health at its most fundamental levels. This included energy medicine and the power of the mind body spirit connection. She was completely healed from her own "incurable" condition and went on to study Reiki (she is a Master level practitioner), yoga, and pranic healing.

She continues to learn every day and seek out the best in all forms of healthcare in order to evolve what is possible for us all. Pulsar Health was created to serve this mission.
